Greater Ashtabula Chamber Foundation
The Ashtabula Area Chamber Foundation, now known as the Greater Ashtabula Chamber Foundation, was formed in 1993 by Chamber of Commerce Board Members and originated through funds from the Ashtabula Area Chamber of Commerce, now known as the Greater Ashtabula Chamber of Commerce. At one time, funds were provided by the Foundation to enhance projects or programs in Ashtabula County. The Foundation is an affiliate of the Chamber of Commerce with similar objectives, but separate Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws. The Greater Ashtabula Chamber Foundation acts as a source of funding for local projects and organizations, as well as local scholarships available to Chamber members.
The primary fundraiser for the Chamber Foundation is the Uncork’d WineFest, hosted annually on the fourth weekend in June at Lakeshore Park in Ashtabula. The festival, in part, helps fund the Foundation's annual scholarship fund. To find out more information about the festival, including how to be a volunteer, reserve a vendor spot, or find out the exciting events taking place that weekend, visit the festival's website.
Each year the Greater Ashtabula Chamber Foundation awards two scholarships to worthy local students. Congratulations to the 2019 Scholarship recipients!
