MEETING ROOM RENTAL DISCOUNTS - As a member in good standing, you may utilize either meeting room (one room for 8 or the larger room for 60) during normal business hours. Give us a call for details.

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY AND BUYERS GUIDE - Your business receives two listings in this useful publication ... alphabetically (by company name) and categorically (as in a Yellow Pages directory). This book is widely distributed within the Chamber membership network and our community.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER - Our "Chamber News" gives you a calendar of events for the month, as well as the latest business and member news. New members are announced in this publication.

MEMBERSHIP MAILING LIST, ready to copy onto label sheets or electronically (MS Excel), is free to members. Mailing labels are available to members for $35 for the Membership database and $50 for the mailing database. (Not available at any cost to non-members.)

LITERATURE DISPLAY - Keep us supplied with your brochures and/or business cards and we will display and distribute them for you. We are "your storefront on Main Avenue".

SPECIAL ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES - Do you need to get information about your business or products into the hands of the area's most prominent decision makers? Provide us with 800 flyers and a check for $150 and we will mail your 8 1/2" x 11" flyer with our monthly newsletter. Call by the first of each month to get on the schedule.

New this year… Want to share this advertising expense with a fellow-chamber member? Give us a call and we will put you in touch with another Chamber member who is interested in co-oping this advertising opportunity (one side of flyer your ad, share the copying expense, share the $150 advertising expense).

SPECIAL MARKETING GUIDES – We have developed a series of marketing brochures for frequently referred categories. Currently, the brochures produced are: Dining, Insurance, Financial Institutions, Real Estate, Physicians, Contractors, Lodging and Health, Beauty & Spa. All Ashtabula Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing are listed in the respective Chamber brochures. These brochures are distributed throughout the community and in relocation packets..

SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER satellite office hours at the Chamber. Call 440-992-6162 to schedule an appointment with a business counselor to discuss your business plans and financing opportunities. There is no charge for their services.

VALUE ADDED BENEFITS are offered by Chamber-Member businesses to fellow Chamber-Member businesses. This is a great way to get the word out in the Chamber network about your product or service. Give the Chamber a call to become a part of this valuable program.

RIBBON CUTTING and GROUND BREAKING CEREMONIES - The Ashtabula Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to assist all Chamber members with any ribbon cutting or event to promote their business.

If you are a new member, have completely renovated your business, moved, erected a new building or are celebrating a monumental time in your business (ie. 25 years of service), we encourage you to give us a call for assistance in getting the word out.

Steps in planning your celebration:

1. Call the Chamber to check the current calendar. It’s best to schedule your event on a day that doesn’t conflict with other community events. We’d be glad to make recommendations of the best day, time of day, who to invite, etc.
2. Once a date and time have been selected, confirm with the Chamber to have it on the Chamber calendar. Also, please remember our monthly newsletter currently goes out on the 15th of each month. If you would like full promotional benefit, we suggest submitting your information at least a month in advance.
3. We will be glad to assist in creating a press release for your business. Please submit your information in writing, preferably email and we will take it from there. We will incorporate your information onto Chamber letterhead and then fax the information to the local media. We cannot guarantee the press will attend your function, as it depends on the type of news day they are experiencing. They do their best to attend Chamber functions.
4. Let us know if you would like us to bring our big scissors and a red ribbon!
